Final Project

For my project, I wanted to document and showcase how each classmate was in the process of developing their art pieces, I decided I wanted to highlight this through a series of  portraits. Including asking some of my classmates if I could take their photo, I used a combination of a 2H and 2B pencils to develop my drawings and create more depth by putting an emphasis on the figures and the materials each person uses. I also took inspiration from the artists my professor recommended to me such as Robert Longo and Richard Hambleton, I  leaned more towards Longo due to how he would have people he knew pose for him. It is important to me how there needs to be an acknowledgement towards how artists would develop their art pieces and how focused they are with them that give their work more weight. What I  wanted to achieve with this was showcasing artists in the moment of their creativity and  highlight some of the processes that are applied in their work
